Hi! My name is Winter. I am a videographer based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I specialize in video shooting, editing with experience in SPORTS AND NEWS broadcasting. With my focus on visual storytelling, particularly in the context of individuals, athletic teams, and short films, I aim to help tell the side of one's story that no one else see's.
Founded by a passion for working with cameras, my journey began with filming sports in high school and evolved through college while studying film studies, creative media, and journalism. My main challenges include overcoming technical and creative obstacles in video production, which we have addressed through perseverance and continuous learning.
I currently work at the University of Pittsburgh in the athletics department through Pitt Studios as an Assistant Director of Video Production. I am the video contact for the Volleyball, Softball and Gymnastics teams. Previously, I spent 4 years as a production assistant through Crimson Tide Productions at The University of Alabama while studying for my undergraduate and Graduate degrees. There I started my journey in sports broadcast and creative shooting. I covered various sporting events from both sides.
As a creative shooter, I was able to learn the fundamentals of capturing an alternative view of athletes to show viewers. I had the opportunity to work with the football, men's and women's basketball, softball, baseball, gymnastics, rowing, and golf teams.
With the world of sports continuously growing, there is always a story to tell. My job is to help tell it. Let's work together!
